London to Paris – 220 Miles
The team got together to raise money for Briony Lewis John, a pupil at Hastings High School in Burbage, who fell from her bike and suffered a broken spine, fractured skull, broken collar bone, two broken ribs, a punctured lung and a head wound needing 26 stitches. Briony was left paralysed from the waist down. The money raised paid for a special wheelchair.
