Bordeaux to Beziers

The team cycled across France to raise money for Laura Stock who has a rare genetic condition called Smith-Magenis Syndrome. Due to a missing chromosome, Laura, who was five at the time of the fund-raising and lived in Hinckley, has learning and behavioural difficulties. The plan was to create a padded room for her protection by building an extension onto her parents’ home.

“The room is a God send to us and has become a major part in Laura’s home life, where we can all spend time as a family with Laura but more importantly, Laura is in a safe environment. The room would not have happened but for the fantastic effort put in by everybody involved. We are all very thankful,” say her parents.
